Hinsdale
Hinsdale is an affluent village approximately 15 miles west of the City of Chicago, and was recently named one of Chicago's Top 12 Suburbs by Chicago Magazine. It is one of the most coveted neighborhoods in the Chicagoland suburbs. Located along the Metra Burlington Northern Santa Fe railway, it is a desirable suburb for those who commute into the city for work. Hinsdale is also a quick 20 minutes from O'Hare International Airport and 20 minutes from Midway International Airport.
A mix of new construction, custom builds, estate-sized lots,1920's bungalows, Victorians of the 1800's, English Tudors and R. Harold Zook designed homes all grace the beautiful tree-lined streets of Hinsdale. The Historic Downtown's bustling business district is filled with boutiques, chic restaurants, welness services & spas, tradional and gluten-free bakeries, boutique jewelers & more. The village also hosts an annual Christmas Walk, holiday parades and weekly Farmer's Market on Mondays (May to October). A modern and stylish town with deep traditions to be sure; some of the original cobblestone roads still remain in place today.
